Add and import clients

Add a client by hand, or bring your whole list over from a spreadsheet or another tool.

Updated June 26, 2026

To add one client, go to Clients → New client; a name and email is all you need. To bring a whole list, use Clients → Import and upload a CSV. Both take a couple of minutes.

Add a single client

  1. Go to Clients and choose New client.
  2. Enter their name and email; add a phone or company if you have it.
  3. Save. You can attach projects, invoices, and notes from their profile.

Import a list

  1. Export your contacts to a CSV from your spreadsheet or current tool.
  2. In Gliss, go to Clients → Import and upload the file.
  3. Map any columns Gliss can't match automatically, then confirm.

Note

Re-importing a list is safe: Gliss matches people by email and updates the existing client instead of adding a second copy. The same person under two different email addresses (or a row with no email) can still come in twice, so it's worth a quick scan after a big import.

Switching from another tool? The migration guides have per-tool steps.
