Create your first automation

Build a rule that sends a follow-up or reminder for you when something happens.

Start with one automation: pick what triggers it, pick what it does, and turn it on. A good first one is a reminder when an invoice goes overdue.

Build it

  1. Go to Automations and choose New automation.
  2. Pick a trigger, like "invoice is 3 days overdue."
  3. Add an action, like "send a reminder email," then turn it on.

Tip

Test it on yourself first: trigger the condition with a test client and watch the action run before you rely on it.
